Cerberus' hound is a mythical beast in Greek legends. It is commonly portrayed as a multi-headed canine guarding the gates of Hades. According to some legends, Cancerbero possesses three heads, while in others it can have as many as nine separate heads. The term "cancerbero" is also used to refer to a ferocious and unrelenting guardian.
